Aqua (Solvent)

Dissolves substances or ingredients

Sodium C14-17 Alkyl Sec Sulfonate (Surfactant)

An ingredient which helps to clean or remove dirt and oil, creating foam when used with water

Sodium Hypochlorite (Oxidising Agent)

In laundry and household care products stains are removed by oxidation (bleaching).

Sodium Chloride (Builder)

Reduces water hardness, makes cleaning products more effective

Parfum (Fragrance)

Provides a distinctive, pleasant smell

Diphenyl Ether

A green-geranium floral note. This ingredient is used to reconstitute flowers such as hyacinth.

2,6-Dimethylheptanol

A fresh lavender and lily of the valley scent with a woody touch. It has a fresh character which is very useful in citrus, floral and woody compositions.

2,6-Dimethyl-7-Octen-2-Ol

A fresh and clean citrus smell. This ingredient provides an alternative to citrus oils.

Dipropylene Glycol

An odourless ingredient that helps to dissolve solid fragrance ingredients in order to blend them with fragrances more easily.

Dihydrocitronellol

A floral, rose with a slightly minty note. This ingredient is found in the oil of juniper tree leaves. It is most often used in citrus, white floral and rose fragrances.

2-T-Butylcyclohexyl Acetate

An apple, herbal scent. It is used in fruity and citrus fragrances for its light apple, pear aroma.

Tetrahydrolinalool

A herbal lavender note with a citrus floral character. It is derived from an ingredient that occurs in many essential oils such as rose, mint, tangerine and lavender.

Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster)

Controls the acidity / alkalinity balance of products

Sodium Silicate (Corrosion Inhibitor)

Prevents corrosion of packaging

Simethicone (Antifoaming Agent)

Prevents excessive foam or bubbles forming when a product is used

Sodium Periodate Meta (Antioxidant)

Helps to prevent reactions promoted by oxygen in the product, which can cause product spoilage.
